On 19 March, the first event for business, “The Eldrive Network and Opportunities for Business”, was held at the Eldrive electric vehicle charging hub near Panevėžys. It presented the company's solutions for business, reviewed the situation of the electric vehicle market in Lithuania and the directions of the network's expansion. The most important questions about electric vehicle charging were also answered.
“More and more companies are renewing their vehicle fleets, and the number of electric cars in cities is growing rapidly,” says Eldrive Director Tomas Tamašauskas. “At the same time, there is a growing need for convenient electric fleet management and well-developed charging infrastructure both in cities and beyond. This is exactly what we wanted to tell the business community about.”
Eldrive Lithuania currently works with more than 200 companies that use charging services across the operator's entire network. This confirms the growing interest of business in electric vehicles and the increasing need for solutions that help to manage electric fleets efficiently and ensure convenient charging on business-friendly terms.
The event focused on electric fleet management and practical solutions. There was also a discussion on the specifics of acquiring and charging electric vehicles, their economic benefits and the challenges faced by businesses.
The event was opened by Povilas Žarnauskas, Head of Marketing of the Eldrive Group. He presented trends in the Lithuanian electric vehicle market and their growing relevance, especially in the context of current fuel prices. The audience and company representatives discussed the development of charging infrastructure, its adaptation for heavy-duty vehicles, power balancing and the automatic charging function.
The company's head, T. Tamašauskas, spoke about the electric fleet management solutions offered by the company, discounts for partners and opportunities for expanding charging infrastructure. He emphasised: “We are open to dialogue on installing new charging locations, so we invite businesses to contact us if you see a need or an opportunity to install charging stations at offices or other convenient locations.”
A successful business partnership is illustrated by the cooperation between Eldrive and Porsche, which brings together two innovative companies that value high service quality. Event participants had the opportunity to test the latest Porsche electric cars, get advice on charging solutions and charge their vehicles free of charge in the Eldrive network. Company representatives demonstrated the charging of a Porsche electric car and shared important insights.
The event ended with informal discussions and networking among participants, accompanied by coffee and snacks from partner Caffeine. This provided an opportunity to discuss cooperation opportunities and to evaluate electric vehicle solutions for business in practice.
