With fully charged batteries and an electric vibe in the air, the #RO1000Challenge – Summer Edition kicked off from the heart of Transylvania, at the Eldrive HUB in Sebeș, located in the Altex România parking lot. It was more than just a starting point — it marked the launch of a sustainable journey, as 12 electric vehicles from the Electromobilitate community embarked on a 1000 km challenge across western Romania.
🌍 1000 km of landscapes, people, and positive energy
The route took participants through iconic cities filled with history and energy: Timișoara, Sebeș, Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Târgu Jiu, Petroșani, Oradea, Arad, and more. The trip offered not only beautiful scenery and inspiring encounters, but also valuable real-world data on EV performance — all wrapped in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the journey, Eldrive charging stations played a key role by supporting smooth, uninterrupted travel. Our network ensured every stop was an opportunity to recharge — both vehicles and spirits. Locations like Shopping Park Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Nest Oradea, Lidl Arad were among the many Eldrive stations that welcomed participants with open arms and reliable service.
We are proud to have powered this ambitious route and to have helped demonstrate how reliable electric mobility can be across varied terrain.
