Payment changes in the Eldrive network – what you need to know
To ensure more reliable and smoother payment for charging services, we will start applying a temporary hold of funds in the Eldrive network.
How does the hold of funds work?
Before each charging session, an amount of EUR 10 is temporarily reserved on your bank card. This amount is not charged – it is only reserved as payment confirmation.
Once the charging session ends, the actual cost of charging will be charged, and the unused part of the reserved amount will be released automatically.
When does the hold apply?
The temporary hold applies until your total spending in the Eldrive network reaches EUR 30.
Once this amount is reached, the hold no longer applies and charging sessions can be started without any additional reservation of funds.
Good to know
How long it takes for the reserved funds to return to your account depends on your bank. It usually takes a few minutes, but in some cases it may take several business days.
