For EV drivers – Eldrive offers subscriptions with lower charging prices
The EV charging network Eldrive is introducing a new service in Lithuania – two-tier charging subscriptions that will allow drivers to save money, plan their expenses more clearly and use the network even more easily.
The subscription system is designed around different driver needs: from those who drive around the city every day to those who often set off on longer journeys.
According to Tomas Tamašauskas, Head of Eldrive Lithuania, this innovation is a natural step in responding to EV drivers' growing need for efficient solutions:
“Customers want simplicity, predictable prices and the opportunity to save. That is exactly what we offer – clearly defined rates, quick activation and real benefits for those who charge more often,” says Tamašauskas. “This is just one of the ways we are working to improve the user experience.”
The new subscriptions in Lithuania:
- Eldrive Smart – EUR 5.90 per month, charging prices:
- AC stations – EUR 0.31/kWh
- DC stations – EUR 0.39/kWh
- Eldrive PRO – EUR 11.90 per month, charging prices:
- AC – EUR 0.29/kWh
- DC – EUR 0.31/kWh
Each subscription is valid for 30 days, during which the above rates apply up to 250 kWh. After that, standard prices apply. A subscription is valid only in the country where it was activated.
The service is very easy to activate – with just a few taps in the Eldrive mobile app.
A growing EV market
Eldrive currently operates in three countries – Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania – and is actively expanding its network. The number of electric vehicles in Lithuania has grown rapidly over the past year: according to Regitra, EV registrations in 2024 grew by as much as 55% compared with the previous year.
“Today, drivers are increasingly choosing electric mobility. Subscriptions are another step in building a service ecosystem that meets the expectations of today's consumers,” says Tamašauskas.
Eldrive promises that this is only the beginning – more solutions are planned in the near future to make electric transport in Lithuania even more attractive.
