Eldrive, the leading operator of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in SEE and the Baltics, will bring together EV owners, mobility enthusiasts, official importers and dealers, partners, influencers, and experts for the next edition of its electric mobility festival. This year, “Eldrive EV Fest – Electric Mobility Festival 2026” will take place on June 6 in Sofia, at the outdoor parking area of The Mall, under the motto “10 Years of Electromobility.”

The location is highly symbolic. Ten years ago, Eldrive installed its very first charging station exactly there — at The Mall in Sofia — and it is still operating today. Today, The Mall is one of the most visited shopping centers in Bulgaria, with more than 240 stores across over 62,000 sq. m., and serves as a major charging hub where Eldrive operates 18 charging points, including fast and ultra-fast charging infrastructure.

“This is where Eldrive started — at this very shopping mall, with our first charging station. Ten years later, returning here with a festival dedicated to electromobility is a big day for the entire Eldrive team across all the countries where we operate,” said Stefan Spassov, CEO of Eldrive. “This festival is the best example of how much e-mobility has grown, how many people are now part of this community, and how electric transport is becoming a natural choice for everyday mobility.”

The festival will run throughout the day, offering a wide program for visitors of all ages, including games, prizes, entertainment, and direct access to industry experts. One of the main highlights will be the opportunity to test drive more than 30 of the newest electric models presented by official importers and dealers. Participating brands are expected to include Hyundai, Volvo, Renault, KIA, Lynk & Co, Geely, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Citroën, Jeep, Fiat, MG, Alfa Romeo, Nissan, and others.

In the evening, the program will culminate in a spectacular Tesla light show, turning the venue into a stage for electric energy and innovation.

This year’s event follows the success of the 2025 edition, which took place on September 20 at the Port of Burgas during European Mobility Week. Last year’s Eldrive EV Fest gathered more than 200 electric vehicles from across Bulgaria, more than seven official importers, and more than 20 electric models for test drives from brands such as Hyundai, Volvo, Renault, KIA, Lynk & Co, Geely, and Mercedes-Benz. The event also attracted EV enthusiasts from Romania, who traveled to Burgas using Eldrive’s charging network along the way. More than just a car exhibition, the Burgas edition featured a family-friendly program, a children’s zone, and an evening light show, confirming the growing role of electromobility in everyday life.

“After the strong response we saw last year in Burgas, we are very happy to bring the festival to Sofia for its second edition,” said Dimo Kolchev, Country Manager of Eldrive Bulgaria. “In Burgas, we saw how active and open the EV community already is — people came not only to look at cars, but to test, ask questions, share experiences and be part of the change. This year, at The Mall, we want to build on that energy. Electromobility grows fastest when people can experience it directly, which is why the festival combines test drives, conversations with owners, expert advice, and entertainment. Our goal is to show that electric mobility is already accessible, practical, and exciting — both in the city and on the road.”

As a leading regional operator in Bulgaria, Romania, and Lithuania, Eldrive currently manages more than 3,500 charging points, including over 1,200 in Bulgaria, focusing on fast and ultra-fast charging hubs. Supported by the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the company has ambitious expansion plans to deploy 7,400 charging stations by 2028 across its three markets, with more than 2,000 of them planned for Bulgaria.

Eldrive EV Fest 2026 will take place on June 6 at The Mall in Sofia and will be open to everyone interested in electric vehicles, sustainable mobility, and the future of transport.
