The Eldrive EV charging network in Lithuania continues to expand – from now on, electric vehicle drivers can also charge in Ukmergė, next to the Rimi shopping centre at Vytauto g. 58A. The new charging point adds to the growing network in the regions and contributes to more convenient EV travel across the country.
Two 50 kW charging stations, each with two CCS2 connectors, have been installed next to the Rimi shopping centre in Ukmergė. This makes it possible to charge up to four electric vehicles at the same time. The charging location is convenient for everyday stops – you can charge your electric vehicle while shopping.
“We are steadily expanding the Eldrive charging network in Lithuania so that charging an electric vehicle is convenient and accessible not only in the major cities but also in the regions. Ukmergė is an important step in this process – here we see a growing number of electric vehicles, transit traffic and a real need for reliable infrastructure,” says Tomas Tamašauskas, Head of Eldrive Lithuania.
Drivers can find all Eldrive charging locations in the Eldrive mobile app, which provides information on station locations, their availability, pricing and the available charging power.
“Our goal in Lithuania is to build a reliable national EV charging network. Today we are already very close to this goal, and every new charging location contributes even more to making EV travel throughout Lithuania simple, convenient and worry-free,” says T. Tamašauskas.
Eldrive will continue to actively expand its charging network in Lithuania, strengthening EV charging infrastructure in both cities and regions so that the electric vehicle is a convenient choice for everyday use.
