Eldrive Romania backed the Dekra team at Transylvania eClassic - Christmas Tour 2024: An important step for electric mobility in Romania

On December 6 and 7, 2024, electric mobility in Romania was in the spotlight at the second winter edition of the Transylvania eClassic - Christmas Tour. This event, which brought together 36 teams from all over the country, demonstrated that electric cars are ready to face the most challenging conditions, even in the cold season. We were pleased to support the Dekra team in this competition as a charging partner. They chose to charge at our stations in Unirea Bucharest and Unirea Brasov and La Strada Brasov.

Transylvania eClassic - Christmas Tour: An unforgettable electric competition

Transylvania eClassic - Christmas Tour 2024 was much more than just an electric car competition. Over the two days, the participants drove through spectacular trails in Țara Barsei and all the way to Sibiu, stopping at special places such as the Albota Sculpture and Brambura Park. At the end, Sibiu's Huet Square hosted an exhibition of all the participating electric cars, as well as electric buses from TurSib S.A., Sibiu's public transport operator.

Another touching moment was when participants presented gifts to children from PECA centers in Ghimbav and Sibiu, a gesture of solidarity that marked the spirit of the winter holidays.

Electromobility Gala: Sibiu becomes the capital of electric mobility in Romania

The highlight of the event was the Electromobility Gala, organized for the first time in Sibiu. Here, outstanding achievements in the field of electric mobility were rewarded and Sibiu was recognized for excellence in implementing smart urban mobility projects. During the gala, companies and institutions that have significantly contributed to the development of this field in Romania were awarded.
