🏆 Hyundai Inster – Best Electric City Car in Romania for 2025!
Hyundai Inster has been awarded the title of Best Electric City Car 2025 in a national competition celebrating urban electric mobility. The event, organized by AutoExpert Media Group with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, highlighted the most innovative and efficient electric models designed for city driving.
🔋 Romania is Charging Ahead
“It’s essential to encourage Romanians to choose clean vehicles, especially in urban areas. We hope to launch the Rabla Plus program soon, with an increased eco-voucher of €7,500 – a 50% boost compared to last year,” said Minister Mircea Fechet during the awards ceremony.
The Ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the EV charging network and supporting events that raise awareness and promote the adoption of electric vehicles.

In addition to winning the grand Best Electric City Car 2025 award, Hyundai Inster also took home the Comfort Award, solidifying its status as a leader among compact electric vehicles. 🚘 Public Exhibition & Real Urban Testing
Between April 11–13, the public had the opportunity to admire all competing models during a dedicated exhibition at București Mall Vitan, where they could interact with automotive experts and explore the benefits of electric mobility.
After the exhibition, all models underwent real-world urban testing, with tailored routes designed for each vehicle category – from mini EVs (like the Fiat 500e, Dacia Spring, Renault 5) to quadricycles (Microlino, Allview CityZEN, Yoyo XEV), considering regulations for younger drivers as well.
⚡ At the end of the day, the EVs regrouped and charged at our Eldrive HUB – Unirea Shopping Center, right in the heart of Bucharest.
